I am now focusing more on close-up nature photography but will keep this portfolio site going for some of my other images, aswell as some of my close-up work
Thankyou for visiting my portfolio. I have a passion for all aspects of the natural world, whether it is studying the intricate anatomy and lifecycles of insects and fungi, or experiencing its raw power in coastal landscapes.
I believe the way we live our modern lives leads to a disconnection from nature and like to use my photography as a means to discover and fully appreciate the natural world.
I have enjoyed photography for many years but started to take it more seriously after joining my local camera club in 2014 and am currently the membership secretary for Hitchin Camera Club. I gained my LRPS in 2016 and am currently working towards an ARPS. I enjoy entering images in the British Photographic Exhibitions and have been fortunate enough to gain one gold medal aswell as a few judges commendations.
After a career as veterinary surgeon I am now enjoying being able to devote more time to capturing the beauty and complexity of nature in my images.
